The soil here is fertile with your fear of death
A vile invocation their theatre foretold
Speaking the tongue of production
What spectacular production to behold
Delirium
Cast before a pneumatic force
In an arcane district of cold duplicity
While nefarious uniforms gather within its courts
Bellowing a structure of ecstatic efficiency
The reverent stench of the working day
Drawing nigh upon mechanical temples
Where artifice stalks in nervous fertility
As our trembling limbs grasp for sedation
There are eldritch engineers in our midst
Spectres ardent with crooked visions
Conducting hymns of material assembly
I'm dancing in their corroded halls
As this gaping chasm tempers our solemn inheritance
Vicious subjects make companions with artificial limbs
Witness our worship of this pulsating ontology:
The union of death in absolute resonance
"True industrial music from Vancouver, Canada. Norillag uses scrap metal percussion and heavy machinery hand in hand with atmospheric classical instruments; channelling the early years of industrial while bringing a modern touch to the genre. Frenetic stomping anthems intertwine with cinematic and mechanical ambient passages. With a resolute focus on acoustic sources, Norillag expresses a thirst for more tactile aural forms in the age of digital music."

"Dedicated to my dearest friend Raven Salander.
"This record wouldn't be possible without the great number of talented artists, collaborators, and engineers I had the pleasure of working with, as well as all of the support from my closest friends and loved ones. Thank you: Echo, Wren, Vincent, Cassidy, Heather, Hallow, Test Dept., Virtues Label, Phage Tapes, and to so many more."

I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
Gnarly punk rock from the Philadelphia duo is unhinged in the best way, an in-the-red sonic assault a la Motorhead/Stooges. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 9, 2024
